SkilmNET is the personal website of Pete Skillman.
Being the first domain name that I owned, SkilmNET has more sentimental than practical value these days. Originally hosted on a "server" (read: old Dell workstation) in my basement, this was my playground as I cut my teeth on UNIX, Linux, networking, and a whole variety of different server technologies that gave me the skills to land my current job: working with technology for the Anne Arundel County Public School System.
These days, the site is hosted on a small, single-board computer that is FAR more powerful than the original system from a couple decades ago. There isn't much left here now, but the links on the left will take you to what remains.
